Hello Fellow Bloggers!

image

We’re hosting another Recipe Exchange just in time for the holidays! This is a great way to connect with other bloggers, add followers, and gain delicious recipes.

Every couple of weeks, we will be featuring a different baking category. Although these exchanges usually feature  chocolate, we’re making an exception for the holiday season.

The theme of this Recipe Exchange is Gingerbread. (With, or without chocolate).

  • Cookies
  • Bread
  • Cake
  • Cocoa
  • Muffins
  • Anything with the classic delicious Gingerbread flavor

If you have a gingerbread recipe on your blog, we’d love to showcase it here! Simply, post the name of the recipe and your blog link in the comment section below.

Don’t have a recipe, but love great food? We’d love to connect with you, as well! Just add a link to your blog, so others can connect and follow you, as well.

To gain the most exposure, be sure to add your recipes and blog link to past and future Recipe Exchanges. We’ll keep a running lists of posts.

October is the perfect month to get to know my fellow bloggers a bit better! So, consider yourself tagged for this fun Halloween survey. 🎃

  1. What scent sets the holiday mood?
  2. Favorite Halloween Fun Size Candy Bar?
  3. Favorite Halloween movie?
  4. Favorite seasonal sweet?
  5. What toppings are on the perfect candy apple?
  6. What’s your favorite costume you ever wore on Halloween?
  7. Most enjoyable fall tradition?
  8. Pumpkin Patch Hayride or Haunted Hayride?
  9. What song is a must for a Halloween Party Playlist?
  10. Favorite Halloween Monster: Dracula, Frankenstein, etc.?
  11. Cider or Cocoa?
  12. Scary movies or Scaredy cat?
  13. Pumpkin Spice: Yum, or Yuck?
  14. Which is scariest: Spiders, Zombies, or Clowns?
  15. Best find in your Trick or Treat bag?
  16. Worst thing to get in your Trick or Treat bag?

Here are my answers:
What scent sets the holiday mood?
Cinnamon Spice! I love the brooms, pine cones, candles, and anything else I get my hands on.

Favorite Halloween Fun Size Candy Bar?
When it comes to chocolate, it’s impossible to pick a favorite. Snickers, KitKats, Peanut M&M’s, Heath…they’re all good.

Favorite Halloween movie?
Family Favorite- Hocus Pocus. I adore scary movies, too…not gory, but one with a good suspenseful plot, and a dark and stormy feel to it, is perfect!

Favorite seasonal sweet?
Besides an obnoxious amount of candy- Chocolate Covered Apples, Krispy Kreme holiday doughnuts (because they are adorable…and they’re Krispy Kreme). photo

What toppings are on the perfect candy apple?
Chocolate, Caramel, and Crushed Peanut Butter Cups. (I have chills thinking about it).

What’s your favorite costume you ever wore on Halloween?
Wonder Woman (Because nobody messes with a super hero’s candy).

Most enjoyable fall tradition?
Finding the perfect pumpkin to carve in the pumpkin patch…then, buying a cheap replacement at the grocery store, because the other one is too perfect to carve. (It will look so perfect with the Thanksgiving decor).

Pumpkin Patch Hayride or Haunted Hayride?
Pumpkin Patch. Yes, I like a good scare…from behind the tv screen, where zombies can’t grab me and pull me into the dark forest- to the chain saw shed.

What song is a must for a Halloween Party Playlist?
Monster Mash

Favorite Halloween Monster: Dracula, Frankenstein, other?
Frankie! He’s my favorite Halloween icon.

Cider or Cocoa?
If I chose cider, I wouldn’t be named Agatha Chocolats. Cocoa, for sure. And bring on the whipped cream!

Pumpkin Spice: Yum, or Yuck?
Mostly, yum. Until it gets out of hand, and I’m smelling it all day in toilet cleansers and laundry detergent.

Which is scariest: Spiders, Zombies, or Clowns?
Clowns. Yep.

Best find in a Trick or Treat bag?
A Pumpkin Wrapped Lindor Truffle photo

Worst thing to get in your Trick or Treat bag?
Raisins.

Meet and Greet Recipe Exchange: Pumpkin

2

Hello Fellow Bloggers and Bakers!

 image

We’re hosting another Meet and Greet Recipe Exchange

You may be asking yourself, what’s the point of participating in a Meet and Greet?

image.gif

Well, it’s an opportunity to…

  • Connect with other bloggers.
  • Gain exposure for your blog.
  • Increase your followers.
  • Discover new blogs.
  • And of course collect delicious recipes!

Each Recipe Exchange features a different baking confection or flavor.

Now it may not officially be Autumn, but September has arrived…which means Pumpkin Spice is in the air!

image

So, no surprise, the theme of this Recipe Exchange is Pumpkin.

image

Ordinarily, chocolate is the star of all of the desserts on this blog. But, just this once, chocolate doesn’t have to be the main ingredient. However, we do ask that chocolate is in the recipe…we don’t want to get too crazy here, and lose focus of our priorities. Besides, pumpkin and chocolate- pure decadence!

image

The Rules:

Your recipe must feature pumpkin, and include at least one chocolate element. The chocolate can be in any form, or in any amount:

  • White, Milk, or Dark Chocolate
  • A sprinkle of chocolate chips
  • A powder of cocoa
  • A white chocolate glaze
  • A dash of chocolate sprinkles

Photo here

Examples include, (but are not limited to):

  • Muffins
  • Cakes & Cupcakes
  • Cheesecakes
  • Pies & Tarts
  • Cookies
  • Cookie Bars

If you have a Pumpkin recipe on your blog, we’d love to showcase it here! Simply, post the name of the recipe and your blog link in the comment section below.
